Product description

The 16A thermostat for water heaters is a safety and temperature-control component commonly used in electric heaters, including marine (nautical) models, and is generally designed to operate at voltages up to 250V AC. Its main function is to regulate the water temperature by cutting the electrical supply to the resistance when the set value is reached (for example, between 20∘C and 80∘C), and restoring it when the temperature falls. In addition, key safety models for marine water heaters (such as those used by brands like Quick or Sigmar) typically incorporate a dual thermostat with manual reset that latches off the power in case of excessive overheating (90∘C or more), protecting the resistance and the equipment from damage.
