Product description

Acid Batteries: Batteries requiring maintenance, being the most popular and frequent in the market. Within this type of batteries, we have 2 utilities: (A) Starting (red), and the equipment or service batteries; the main differences between these two types of batteries are that the starting ones allow up to 6 large discharges (cycles) and from this point, the plates begin to degrade, and their capacity progressively reduces. It's also important to always keep them adequately charged and not leave them idle for a long period. (B) Service (yellow), they allow up to 600 discharges (cycles), making them recommended for powering equipment on the vessel without load (refrigerators, lights, etc.). Technology: Lead, acid with liquid electrolyte, Ca/Ca alloy, with gas release caps. 140 A, Scheme 3, optional scheme 4.
