CIMA (Italian Magneti Accessori Company) was founded in 1915 and was acquired by Giovanni Pomati in 1922.
The objective of the company was the maintenance and manufacture of magnets of ignition and electrical installation of cars and trucks of the American expedition in Europe during the First World War.
At the beginning of the 30s, the production factory was inaugurated in Milan, near the future central train station that, at that time, was under construction. A few years later, another one was inaugurated destined for production of injection pumps for diesel engines.
In 1971, a new factory was built (after it was destroyed in the Second World War) in Cologno Monzese where the company's headquarters currently reside.
Today they have been enabled, renovated and provided with an advanced calculation system and test rooms for new products which has enabled the development of new production lines.
CIMA exports to all continents and continues to invest in new sectors to better face future challenges.
After 100 years, the main values remain the same: internationalization, development, competitiveness and a good relationship with its employees.
IMNASA is the nautical distributor of CIMA for Spain.
