TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION — Flush deck hatch for boats: recess-mounted, watertight, hinges and friction stays; fastening dimensions.
  • Fits onto a flat deck surface with a maximum tolerance of approximately 1 mm.
  • Fastening size for the hinge section (M6 / 1/4'').
  • Fastening size for the lower frame: use a 5 mm countersunk screw No. 10 UNC 2 BA (CSK).
  • All sizes are suitable for CE area 2 (deck, hull, cabin and thwart).
  • The flush hatch requires a recess in the deck to be properly seated.
  • If the recess is not shaped correctly, the hatch will not sit flush and may fail to open or close.
  • The flush hatch opening is limited to approximately 90 degrees. Supplied only with stays, friction lever or friction hinges.
